Hello, I did not see you there. I was just making this to  inform you that we went on another biking adventure last night. This (yet again) is our longest bike trip yet! We rode 4.869 miles. We went to the far northwest corner of our city. We rode on nine new streets including: Bushnell, Staunton, Thayne, Raymont, Wynn, Barrington, Nordway, Alisson and finally Eardley.

Here you will see some pictures. This time I posted the route from PlotARoute.com.  You might notice that we are wearing masks because it is now mandatory to wear masks in our county. See if you can find a street sign with an arrow and if you can spot the University Heights police car.

    Congratulations Again!! What a Great idea!!! You got healthy exercise; got outside and got to see the entire town. It's a great idea at any time, but in the age of Covid, and closed pools, it's an especially stellar idea. If I could put emojis here, I would put a pair of clapping hands, or 2 raised hands in a celebratory stance; (like a "high 5"), but since it's both hands, is it considered a "high 10"? Hooray to you and your family!! What a cool, local accomplishment!!

It has been a long summer...  WE FINALLY FINISHED OUR CHALLENGE! We finished it only 2 weeks from my school starting. Whew! We got all the remaining streets that were left. They include the following: Hadleigh, Kerwick, Whiton, White, Bromley, Elmdale, Campus, Fenway, Baintree and Kerwin.  We demolished our prior record of 5.3 miles with an astonishing 6.7 miles! Now before I show you the pictures I must inform you about a couple things: number one you might notice I got braces, number two we found a license plate for my dad's collection, number three we finished our ride by the University Heights sign that explains the city's namesake.  Also, for those of you who were wondering the answer to the question on Blog #7 about a street sign with only an arrow- a picture of the answer is at the bottom.                                                                                                                                         By the way, over the winter I will be making ano

Hi! This post is is a little bit postponed. I am uploading this a week later than we actually road the bike  route. We rode on Tuesday August 11, 2020.   It was a very important ride. It was a clean up route for the left side of University Heights. now we only have the right side left. It was different from a normal ride. I got to see the police station on Warrensville. that was cool. We got 7 streets. We got the following streets: Eton, Vernon, Lansdale, Warrensville Center Road, Fenwood, Glendon and Conover.  See now I have a challenge for you. Look at the picture with the arrow street and if  you know where that is than comment were and we will shout you out in the next blog.  Now we did not break our record again on distance, this time we got 4.3 miles.   P.S. before are ride we checked out are new stop sing in are neighborhood Here are some pictures:

Hello! My name is Daniel Terburg!  I am 10 years old and just finished the fourth grade!  This summer is different from many of my past summers.   This summer, camp is closed due to a global pandemic.  I like biking so, my parents gave me the challenge of biking on every single street in my city, University Heights, this summer.   They thought this would help entertain me during social distancing.   They also thought this would help me learn how to read maps, create routes, and would help me learn to blog!  So, we started our "Bike The City" project today, Saturday May 30, 2020!  I created my first bike route tonight.   We started from our house and Dad took pictures of me every time we went on a new street.    Here's the route we took today.   The route is highlighted in blue ink.   The city borders are shown on the map so I know how to create my routes.
